About Us

Making Japanese real estate accessible to the world

We help international buyers discover, purchase, and own property in Japan — no matter where you are in the world.

Our Mission

Japan has 9 million empty homes. We're bringing them — and their towns — back to life.

Japan's vacant homes — akiya — have doubled in the last 30 years, and by 2038 as many as one in three houses could stand empty. Each one is more than a statistic: a family home left behind, a rural town losing its people, a piece of heritage quietly falling into disrepair. We believe these houses deserve a second life, not a wrecking ball — so we connect Japan's forgotten homes with people worldwide who want to restore and live in them, bringing new residents and new energy to the communities that need it most. We aggregate listings from all 47 prefectures, translate them into four languages, and support buyers end to end — from search to renovation to ongoing care — entirely from abroad.
